The Mayfair Collection was born from a deep love of unique fabrics and a passion for creating pieces that tell a story. In the early days, I would often find myself experimenting with making beds and accessories using end-of-roll fabrics — those special remnants that held the promise of something beautiful. It was a habit, a treasure hunt of sorts, where each find would inspire a new creation.
One day, I was walking past a charming local shop, the kind you rarely see anymore, filled with carefully curated fabrics. In the window, a vibrant roll of fabric caught my eye, a design so striking that I couldn’t resist. I walked past, turned back, and found myself returning several times, each visit reigniting the vision of a perfect dog bed that would stand out in any home.
Finally, I took the plunge. I bought not just one but two beautiful colours — a rich orange and a deep blue — each as captivating as the other. The shop owner shared that the fabrics were the last of their kind, sourced from an Italian factory that had since discontinued production. I knew then that these fabrics were special, the last of their lineage, and they were perfect for what I wanted to create. It felt like I was rescuing a piece of history, weaving it into something new and luxurious for our beloved pets.
This collection isn't just about aesthetics; it's about preserving craftsmanship, honouring the beauty of forgotten materials, and creating beds that are not just comfortable but truly one-of-a-kind.
